Field Adjuster Equipment: Rope and Ridge Pro

Let’s dive into some crucial equipment for roof inspections.

First up, we have a bag of high-quality rope. It’s important to get the right type. Don’t go for the kind you might see at a local hardware store with cushioning and fiber wrapping – it’s not strong enough. Instead, order a durable rope from a trusted supplier. You can find a handy storage bag for it on Amazon.

Next is the Ridge Pro. This tool securely attaches to the roof ridge. It might take a bit of practice, especially on steeper slopes, but it’s a reliable device. Hook your rope to the Ridge Pro so it’s easy to reach and stays untangled. The Ridge Pro can be adjusted for various roof pitches, from six to twelve, and it locks in place to keep you safe as you move around the roof.

Remember, while the Ridge Pro is great for field adjusters, you should always use it with a harness belt. The harness is key to your safety during roof inspections. In my next video, I’ll go into detail about the harness, explaining its features and how it works. Stay tuned for more helpful tips. See you soon!
